Trauma Nursing Core Course

TNCC certification is provided through ENA. There are 3 options for the TNCC course:

 

Full course (approximately 12 hours of interactive class time over 2 consecutive days) – this class includes online pre-course modules, 12 hours of virtual instruction and discussion, as well as skills practice and testing  using video conferencing, and an online written test. 19.5 CE hours are provided through ENA. Classes usually meet from 9am - 4pm Eastern Standard Time on day 1 and 9am-2:30pm Eastern Standard Time on day 2.

Renewal Course (approximately 6.5 hours of in-class work)- includes pre-course modules, 6.5 hours of interactive course work, skills practice and testing via video conference, and the online written test. 13.75 CE hours are provided through ENA. Classes usually meet from 9am - 2:30pm Eastern Standard Time. 

Please use the email associated with your account at enau.ena.org. You would have given this email the last time you registered for TNCC. If your TNCC certification has been expired for more than 30 days, you will not be able to take the renewal course.

Challenger option (30 - 45 minutes)- TESTING ONLY - NO INSTRUCTION. This option is recommended only for experienced TNCC providers who are confident in their ability to pass the hands on and written portions of the class without additional instruction.  The course challenge includes precourse modules, virtual trauma nursing process testing, the online written test, and 9 CE credits. Please be sure that you understand ENA's Trauma Nursing Process. If you do not complete the Trauma Nursing Process according to the written guidelines from ENA, you cannot pass this course. No refunds will be issued for participants who do not pass.

ENA requires you to have a provider manual, which is not included in the course fee.

Course fees are nonrefundable. Please be sure that you are able to attend the class prior to registration.

Courses may be rescheduled one time, but if rescheduling with less than 7 days' notice, a $125 fee will apply.
